المادة الفعالة: zoledronic acid

zoledronic acid third-generation bisphosphonate osteoclastic bone resorption inhibitor(calcium regulator).
Zoledronic acid is a potent bisphosphonate that inhibits osteoclast-mediated bone resorption by blocking the mevalonate pathway and inducing apoptosis of osteoclasts
It has a high affinity for bone mineral and accumulates in areas of active bone turnover
This leads to decreased calcium release from bones and stabilization of bone structure
It is mainly indicated for osteoporosis, hypercalcemia of malignancy, and prevention of skeletal-related events in cancer patients
It is administered intravenously and has a long duration of action allowing infrequent dosing.
