Due to its COX-2 selectivity, it produces less gastrointestinal irritation compared with non-selective NSAIDs. Etoricoxib provides analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects in various musculoskeletal disorders. It is indicated for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gouty arthritis, and acute pain management. |
